The first edition of EQUIP AUTO Lyon lived up to its promises and drew to a close on Saturday evening on a very positive note, recording the attendance of nearly 25,500 professionals over the three days. Featuring a larger international contingent on both exhibitor and visitor sides, EQUIP AUTO, the reference event for innovation in automotive aftersales and services for connected mobility, successfully established a base in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This tradeshow which has become an annual event since 2021, combining business, insight and conviviality, confirms the industry’s need to meet up every year.

On September 18, EQUIP AUTO unveiled the shortlist for its International Automotive Innovation Awards. A total of 51 entries were shortlisted this year. A panel of 47 French and international journalists with expertise in the automotive sector voted between 19 and 22 September 2023 to select a winner in each of this year's four categories.

With more than 600 exhibitors and brands registered to date out of the 400 initially expected for this first edition in Lyon, EQUIP AUTO has confirmed its position as the essential B2B meeting place for the automotive industry, its transitions and its innovations.
Thanks to a programme of information, discussions and decision-making aids geared towards users and professionals in the automotive maintenance and services sector, 90 speakers tackled the subjects and issues shaping the future of the automotive after-sales market and services linked to connected mobility.
The major forums and conferences were held in the show's Conference Area, with simultaneous translation in English.

For its first Lyon edition, the reference event for innovation in the automotive aftermarket and services for mobility had set its sights on attracting no fewer than 400 exhibitors and brands, and 30,000 professionals across a surface area of 30,000 sqm.
With nearly 70% of the exhibitor target signed up to date, including 35% from outside France, EQUIP AUTO Lyon reiterates its intention to be a venue in France that harnesses headline events to brings together the entire French, European and international aftermarket.

This brand new meeting, taking place alongside the Lyon Motor Show, confirmed EQUIP AUTO's intention to continue to leverage high profile events in France to bring together all the industry players working in automotive and the mobility of the future. These industry figures will continue to be accompanied by EQUIP AUTO at a yearly frequency, with a new edition of EQUIP AUTO On Tour in 2024, then in October 2025 with the tradeshow EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary on this occasion.
