Salon Automobile de Lyon
LYON Motor Show
________
Lyon, an exceptional city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the cradle of mechanical locomotion with the construction in 1885 of the first automobile equipped with an internal combustion engine, is also the capital of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (AuRA) region, which has a historically strong link with the automobile.
With nearly 55,000 employees in more than 21,000 companies, a competitiveness cluster dedicated to mobility solutions, and leading companies in the mobility sector (Michelin, Renault Trucks, Iveco, etc.), the AuRA region and the Lyon metropolitan area, located at the crossroads of Europe, constitute a major economic basin in France and one of the lungs of its automotive industry.
This was all it took to convince EQUIP AUTO of the relevance of a new major event to be held in France's second largest region. The international potential of the city of Lyon, thanks to its excellent transport links (road, rail and air), its proximity to Switzerland and Italy, and the fact that the Lyon Motor Show will be held from 28 September to 2 October 2023, made this prospect obvious.
Scheduled to take place at EUREXPO Lyon from 28 to 30 September, in synergy with the Lyon Motor Show, which has become a key event in the French automotive landscape, combining sales, passion, emotion and conviviality (65,000 visitors, 100 exhibitors and 45 car brands*), these two events will be an opportunity to bring together professionals and the general public once again, thus covering the entire value chain for the automotive and mobility sector.
